From Prevention To Cure. Healing Today, Empowering Tomorrow

Stem Cure
CHILDREN FOUNDATION
Every child deserve the chance to live a healthy and fulfilling life, yet thousands of children suffer from Hemoglobinopathies which are preventable and curable when diagnosed early. Many suffer from bone marrow failure, immunodeficiency and inherited metabolic disorders, the cure for which is available but beyond the reach of many. Stem Cure Children Foundation is dediacted to changing this reality. We believe no child should lose a chance of a healthy future because of lack of awareness or limited access to specialised care. Our mission is to bridge the gap by working together with health care professionals, policy makers, patient families, and compassionate supporters we strive to build a future where these children have an access to the world class curative treatment available.

Our Services
Prevention programmes

Population screening for Hemogobinopathies
Population screening by systematic testing of individuals in a defined population to detect whether they have a normal hemoglobin pattern, are carriers (trait), or are affected by an inherited hemoglobin disorder such as thalassemia or sickle cell disease.

Antenatal screening programmes
To identify pregnant women and their partners who are carriers of inherited hemoglobin disorders (such as β-thalassemia, sickle cell disease, and other hemoglobin variants) early in pregnancy, allowing timely genetic counselling, prenatal diagnosis, and informed reproductive decision-making.

Pre-marital carrier testing and Screening
Determine whether prospective partners are carriers of inherited blood disorders before marriage. This empowers couples to make informed reproductive choices and reduces the risk of passing genetic conditions to future generations.
Genetic
Counselling
Receive expert guidance to understand genetic test results, inheritance patterns, and associated health risks. Our counselling supports individuals and families in making informed medical and family planning decisions.
Curative Therapy Access

Patient identification
Identify children who may benefit from Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) through comprehensive medical evaluation and early diagnosis. Prompt identification ensures timely access to life-saving treatment.

Donor matching support
Facilitate the search for compatible stem cell donors through HLA typing. Finding the right donor significantly improves the chances of a successful transplant.

Pre transplant preparation
Provide comprehensive medical assessments, counselling, and treatment planning to prepare patients for HSCT. Careful preparation helps improves outcomes and minimize transplant-related risks.

Support children requiring HSCT
Offer holistic support to children and their families throughout the transplant journey, including medical guidance, emotional assistance, and care coordination. Our goal is to ensure every child receives the best possible chance at recovery.

Post-transplant monitoring
Ensure continuous follow-up care to monitor recovery, detect complications early, and support long-term health after transplantation. Regular monitoring is essential for successful outcomes and improved quality of life.

Funding for transplant procedures
Provide financial assistance and connect families with funding resources to help cover the cost of life-saving transplant procedures. We strive to make advanced treatment accessible to every child in need.
